How to Recover Forgotten Windows 7/8 Password

Sometime last year, I had a desktop computer running windows 7, It was password protected and i knew the password.

 But for business reasons, i had to travel for Three Months, Low and Behold, when i returned, i could not enter the password correctly. 

I tried all key combinations i normally use in creating a password, but not, that didn't work.

Owing to the fact that i have important files in the HDD. I could not think of formatting it but to RECOVER THE PASSWORD USING ANY MEANS NECESSARY.

 

I did a little Google search for password recovery tutorials to help me get my password. I did found many as you would guess but very few proved useful.
