Hewlett-Packard (HP) recently announced the release of detachable two-in
one hybrid Windows based laptop – HP pro X2 612, at Computex 2014,
Taipei. This is a laptop designed for the business users and features a
12.5 - inch detachable monitor. That means that it can be used as a
laptop or a tablet, as you feel like. It is shipped with Windows 8.1 as
the OS; a Windows 7 option is also available. This hybrid is powered by
Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor, including vPro option. The keyboard
also features VGA, Display Port, and two USB ports. The price of this
hybrid is not revealed yet, but according to the company it will be
available in the month of September, this year. Along with HP Pro X2 612
the company will also release a new series of HP EliteBook 700.
